Both the sisal and coverings are high grade and have been proven "cat proof" over the years. The covering is plush faux fur which is washable, durable, pleasing to your eye, soft to your cat's belly, and will not injure your cat's toes. Comes in ten colors, too. The sisal is wound tightly so it will not gap.
